I am using the fishtail pattern for beginners.

Step 1: Choose the two colors you want to use.

Step 2: Pick your first color. Next, cross the rubber band over to the other side. Now, your rubber band should look like the number 8.

Step 3: After crossing your first rubber band, add your second rubber band on top. You do not need to cross your second rubber band (yellow)

Step 4: Add your third rubber band. Note: your third rubber band must be the same color with your first rubber band (green)

Step 5: Using your hook, grab one side of the first rubber band and loop it over the third rubber band.

Step 6: After looping the first side of your first rubber band to the upmost rubber band, your current loom band should look like this.

Step 7: Loop the other side of the first or the lowest rubber band over the third rubber band.

Step 8: Now that you have looped both sides, your loom band should look like this.

Step 9: Add the second color and repeat steps 4-8. Note that your upper color when looping must be the same with the first or the lowest rubber band. Repeat until it is long enough.

NOTE:

* Everytime you make a loop, always push down your loom bracelet to prevent the uppermost loop from going out of the loom band.

Your fishtail loom band bracelet pattern should look like this:

Once you're done, hook your loom band bracelet with your G/C/S clip.
